    BT just reported he's undergone surgery on a brain haemorrhage and it was successful

    Never liked Man Utd but always admired Sir Alex, hope he pulls through.

    You can hate the club, but you can't hate the man. Manchester United was merely the vessel that he sailed in. Deep down he stuck to his working class roots and was a very modest man, as those who have known/met him would attest. Was he a driven person? Absolutely, but he was also a generous person.

    Hope the boss makes a speedy recovery

    This is what I had 20 years ago, (though mine didn't require surgery) so I know first hand what his family are going through.
    Hell of a time, prob need rehab for several months.
