I posted this goal in yesterday's El Clásico thread. It was fantastic movement by Bale to lose his marker, and a terrific finish. This was like the Bale of old at Spurs. I think it's fair to say the problem is due to playing with Ronaldo. That is the area of the pitch where Bale is most dangerous, so he is wasted out on the wing. Ronnie is getting on in age now, so does our Gareth move on or stick with Real?

He got in between the centre back and the midfielder, very clever play to make space for himself, and then first touch into the back of the net at 93 km/h.
