Apparently their police escort from he vale was cancelled at the last minute, and when they arrived at the ground the Swansea officials tried to keep them on the coach for half an hour after they'd got there.

Can’t really understand this story? Why would a Hotel chain want to lose a group booking if their was no virus? Swansea would have surely preferred that half the Southampton team had caught a virus so that they may have had a chance of winning the game?
