Certainly is in my opinion, having seen them all from Scoular onwards.
My top five:
Warnock
Scoular
Frankie Burrows
Eddie May
Malky Mackie
Fred Stewart?
Surely scoular will never be beaten? I'm to young to know anything about him but any city manager who beat the mighty real Madrid can't really be surpassed?
Ask me again this time next year. If we are still in the Premier league then, the answer is definitely yes!
at the moment it's only probably yes!!!
Len Ashhurst was always my fav.
Until last Sunday.
I can't remember enjoying a season this much AND achieving something, so I guess that makes him my choice as best ever manager.
It's what he's done off the pitch as well, at such a critical time. The man needs a statue!
yes
ear, ear
In the past it was always Sciular for me. Comparing the last 18 months to Scoular's time , I'd have to say Warnock.
I think its a generation thing.
Some say Eddie May (I wouldn't). Malky took us to a championship and a League Cup final..... that went pear shaped.
For me it would be -
Warnock
Scoular
Andrews
Warnock
Malkie
Scoular
Eddie May for me, that 93 promotion season was special for me, I guess as a young single man it was the right place and the right time
Never missed a game that season and boy was it fun ( football had a little edge to it back then aswell )
Richie Morgan
Warnick for me for what he’s done in less then two years. Unifying the fan base and coming across as a very decent bloke.
Honourable mention mind to Dave Jones for having to put up with the Sam hamman Peter Ridsdale farce with the finances and still producing at times a very exciting team.
YES
If he keeps us up he deserves a feckin statue
I think Warnock is worth his weight in gold and Tann should do all he can to make sure that he remains here to steer us to Premiership survival next season. Big ask but i do believe he could do it. Going to stick £20 on the Bluebirds remaining in the Premiership after next season.
I’m not a betting man normally. The last one I got right was Foinavon in the Grand National a lifetime ago but I’ll be happy to place a bet on this
In Warnock we believe ( on the flag outside the Canton Cross)
