Seen loads and loads of congratulations and praise for Neil Warnock - and rightly so, but much less appreciation for the roles of his two trusted lieutenants.
He mentions their input a fair bit so shows their value to us last year.
Just wanted to say...
Thanks
Good point Brian. These two seem to really come across as giving it their all.
That piece in the echo about how we play, that shows what value they both have to us.
I think it comes with the territory of being behind the scenes, but they do deserve praise.
They make a fantastic team, well done Kevin and Ronnie!
Wholeheartedly agree with this thread. It’s clear Neil leans on them heavily for support and this is as much about the backroom staff as it is about the Manager
Very true that Warnock takes and loves all the accolades but his back room are vital to his success.
Don't forget Andy Dibble.
He was bloody loving it. He kicked every ball. One of us.
Top bloke
They probably did have an input, and well done for being part of a team that has succeeded beyond expectations, although the reality is that none of us know ****all about how crucial they have been, or how much say they have, not trying to piss on chips, but it's presumptuous to think otherwise-football clubs are very strange places. Some assistants are just 'yes men'
I know a chap who knows Mr blackwell personally at a professional level, and he says the man is as sharp as a tack. He researches opposition, is an excellent coach and tactician and supports neil totally. My mate has talked to him directly before several matches this season and says he has been upbeat but honest, (and usually correct) about every one.
The man has nothing but good to say about him!

Warnock's assistant Kevin Blackwell admits the system is unorthodox, but swears by the efficiency of it.
"What people have failed to notice is that tactically we nullified our opposition," he said. "Time and time again.
"We used our full backs coming in narrow and you won't see that in the training manual.
"But if that's the answer in professional football, that's what you've got to do. Nine times out of 10 myself and Ronnie were able to come up with the answers."
Sounds like they play a pretty important part.
What a fantastic read that is.
Yes there contribution cannot be understated, we are very fortunate to have these guys , along with Warnock they could probaly manage a club in thier own right.
The collective knowledge and experience of these guys is something we will need next year .
