    Re: Jlloyd Samuel

I think he was a long way past his best when he played for us, but he looked a class performer when he first broke into the Villa team.

Terrible when a sportsman/woman in particular dies so young. It barely seems like any time has passed since he and Liam Miller were looked on as promising youngsters with the world at their feet.

    RIP

What a tragedy. Heartbreaking for his family, particularly his wife and children.

Only with us for a short while but I remember he was a popular character at his other clubs.

    RIP Jlloyd

Is that the lad Jones brought on when Bothroyd went off in the play-off final?

No. He played in the 3-0 debacle v Reading in 2011 who then lost to the Jacks in the play off final.

The fragility of life. He would have got up this morning and like so many of us probably enjoyed the warm spring sunshine as he drove his kids to school. Now he is mentioned in the past tense on wiki.
Absolutely horrible way to die. Terrible for him and his poor family. It puts everything into perspective.
