    Agent Carvalhal - Gone

I would like to say a huge thank you to Agent Carvalhal. He carried out his given task to absolute perfection. He joined them, he initially gave them hope of staying up but then he really went to work and did the business for us.

On behalf of all Cardiff City supporters, a huge thank you Agent Carvalhal - You were superb.

Indeed, it's all about the hope. If being critical he should have been more subtle and avoided the being found out.

When Lee Johnson moves on, perhaps he can make a start on the wurzels also.

His run of 3 points and goals from the last 9 games puts him right up there with the very worst relegated managers ever. It was a truly spectacular fall, especially after 17 points from the previous 24 available. Some may consider it a vintage relegation performance.

Some teams dither towards relegation, picking up the odd win here and there, offering false hope to supporters, but not Swansea. Carvalhal offered the fans no hope at all, hurtling towards the relegation line at breakneck speed with a panache and style rarely witnessed nowadays.

In seasons to come, pundits will look at relegation battles differently as a result. In future, when a team can't pick up wins, points or goals for toffee, it will forever be known as doing relegation "The Swansea Way". They are now the trendsetters at this particular skill; the benchmark. Achieving the perfect relegation is nigh-on impossible, but Swansea came very close to this achievement.

Mid-table Premier League to Championship fodder within 2 months. That's "The Swansea Way". Lovely stuff.

That's what I said but more succinctly.

Huw Jenkins deserves an honorary mention for employing Carlos and for many other astute decisions he's made these past few seasons. It would be too much to hope he appoints Nick Leeson as the club's new financial director or that Paul Trollope, assisted by Cyril the Swan, heads up their new coaching staff.

Special mention to Bob Bradley too.

Good old Sir Huw Jenkins - getting his gong from the Queen whilst selling the club out to an American hedge fund whilst looking down his huge conk at us. I know he's a failed builders yard merchant but I honestly think the deluded moron started to believe the utter 'bullcrap' of the 'Swansea Way' - he can't be that daft though as he pocketed apparently £6m from the sell out and continues to suck the blood dry both financially and by his inspired role as Director of football - after all who can not but applaud the recruitment of managers of the quality of Bradley and Carvalhal and the players such as an old crock like Bony on an alleged £30m contract a non scoring striker like Andrew Ayew on a reported £38m contract. Midfielders of the quality of Clucas and Carroll for nearly £30m and inspired foreign signings such as Baston and Mesa for £25m who are currently back in Spain dreading the thought of returning to the sh1thole.

Its good to see though the Swansea fans giving their whole hearted support to the regime as they would never 'sell out' or some other bollocks

No, no... you've got it completely wrong.

It was the start of the season that done 'em, Carlos has stated many times on camera (when he wasn't talking his philosophical bollox that is).

I never really noticed the man before he joined the jacks but he came across as a very assured, confident man in his interviews.
I really believe that he did not think for one minute, up until the Saints game at home that is, that they would get relegated.

Yes, this truly was a spectacular fall, of epic proportions.

Those sums of money mentioned being paid on contracts really are staggering

Nick is living Galway. I'll have a word and get him to send his CV to Huw.

That 9 game slump with only 3 points is almost unbelievable. How did he manage it? The Swansea way died after st Brendan left did it not, they were just lucky to get him. I fully expect them to plummet now with all the disarray and players on huge wages still.

Whilst acknowledging the tremendous contributions of Carvalhal and Coach Bradley I think special mention must be made of Paul Clement's spectacularly disastrous summer transfer window. The highlight of course was Bayern Munich getting Swansea to shell out £8m in loan fees and wages for their Portuguese flop Renato Sanches. That pass to the advertising hoardings sums up their season and will long be fondly remembered.
