    Sunderland - Done deal

    40 mil takeover. Be interesting to see if they can clear out and restructure in enough time to bounce back next season.

    They’ll walk league 1 if they get the right manager.

    I'm sure I'm wrong, but it seems so strange how the club capitulated so easily with half decent players and funds .

    Now they can off load weighty contracts ,still have parachute values, able to fund
    a very decent team to go up as Champions of div 1 , and then win promotion to the premeirship, a bold 3 year plan.

    It looks like the plan has all changed.
    Chris Coleman is back in the running for their managers job.
    Couple of seasons in league one , then drop down to league two.
    Unless Gareth Bale becomes available...
