Joe Allen , imagine him pulling the strings in midfield next season

Too much for us to afford but what a player

I can't really. I don't see him as that sort of player. He's a tidy little footballer, but he'd need a lot of support. And who's he going to pass to?

He's basically a premier league Bryson. I'd love to see him here but he's out of our price range I'm sure.

Yeah, he needs a Ramsey next to him, and then he is very good.

Fantastic at winning the ball back and keeping possession, exactly what we need as well as being able to drive forward

For Wales, Ramsey needs Allen more than the other way around

He’s rubbish in the air and doesn’t posses a long throw. Not for us.

On a serious note I’d like to see us have some midfielders who can keep hold of the ball a bit more. I’d rather grujic on Lon again over joe Allen.

A poster mentioned on the last Joe Allen thread a couple of weeks ago that he can pivot quickly with one touch. It was a really good point. We don't have any centre mids that can do that. Hoillet can do it. But it's a great trait for a deep midfielder to have when receiving the ball from defenders and making that extra second to pick a pass up the field.

Joe Allen would improve our midfield. He's a quality little player. I think he would do well under Warnock as well.

This makes no sense Joe is great at keeping possession

Huge fan of his- always have been. Even when the canton stand was singing jimmy saville is joe allen’s dad. That wasn’t long ago either. Can’t see joe coming here.
