Zidane in fairness got it spot on.

Bale off the bench was always the best worst kept secret weapon.

But the unintended consequences are Ronaldo is aging, and he's gone and pissed off Bale, who is Ronaldo's natural heir. It was easy to see in the last few games that Bale bust a gut to get himself a place in the starting lineup, and he deserved it with the effort he put in. I don't blame him if he is heading for the exit, he can play for any club that he chooses. Lots of teams are missing a Ronaldo/Bale type player, maybe even Real Madrid next year!

Yep Ronaldo is past his best. Bale is at his peak and as you say thoroughly pissed off. Odds on to leave Madrid now.
