Thread: Hurling

    Hurling

If any of you haven't watched Hurling on Sky, I recommend that you do.

Its the fastest field sport in the world. The commitment is unreal, and I do believe its the most skilful game in the world.
Once you understand the rules, you should enjoy it.
The only drawback is that on TV it does not reflect the speed of the game.

If Sky shows a game involving Co's Kilkenny, Tipperary, Cork, Limerick, Waterford, Galway, Dublin and Clare it shows Hurling at its best.

RTÉ has the best pick of the games.

    Enjoy.

Couldn't agree more. As an immigrant to Ireland, I find gaelic football to be a bit dull - but hurling's great. It's the only field game I know with very few action replays - because there isn't time.

I agree with the football. There's been too many changes to the rules. Far too many hand-passes.

Hurling is a great spectacle. I go to as many games as possible.
