    Brexit Amrnegeddon

Lots of this in the press today due to leaked documents..

Genuine question for those who voted leave, do you really think your life is going to be that much better leaving the EU?

I wouldn’t say I was a huge fan but indifferent. What I wasn’t a fan of was the undoubted massive pain in the arse for what seems very little benefit leaving is

Even Farage is now claiming (wrongly) that he never said Brits would be better off out of the EU. If the biggest brexit fanatic is backing away from it, then what does that tell us.

What could be worse than living in a socialist (a.k.a. communist) authoritarian utopia?

I predict the next worst case scary leak will involve the value of the pound crashing which would entail - gulp - the cost of everything in Benidorm doubling and the BoE base rate being jacked-up to 20% to defend the currency.

Well thankfull our GDP debt is a lot better than most of the European countries ,Italy's debt is off the wall, and they are talking up a populist goverment strategy, which I bet means borrowing more to lower taxes.

The EU won't survive without having America on-board, Merkel & Co should be trying their very best to get Trump ousted. Meanwhile Trump is busy building coalition's elsewhere.

Yanis Varoufakis spilled the beans, the EU is not a democratic organisation, they are an authoritarian outfit.

Trouble being Trumps USA GDP debt is better than European countries even the canny Germans, no wonder they like the Europe, because there the bloody beneficiaries.

My grandad ,who survived two world wars ( bless him ) , always said we won the war ,Germany won the peace .
    How right he was.

Its a union of 28 states of varying ideologies which backs free trade with one another, I'd hardly call it a Communist organisation...

Yes, one that keeps on moving the goalposts in a single direction. What's the endgame?

Who’s fault is that if indeed it is a fault? Ours are Germany’s?

I’d rather this country be more like Germany, they seem to have got their act together whilst elements of this country are still obsessed with the war.

I am someone who voted for Remain and I don't think that many people who voted the other way really understood the serious consequences of Brexit in the short term. However, I do fear that the EU project may yet fracture and fail in the longer term.

They certainly lost the peace after the First World War, and I'm not sure how having your country divided between 4 other countries after the Second World War is winning

The EU started out as a common market, but we have witnessed ongoing mission creep ever since, which was actually the intention of the founders.

THE European Union has been “the greatest dream realised for human beings since the fall of the Western Roman Empire”, the Archbishop of Canterbury said on Sunday.

Humans are the most gullible species on earth, they will believe just about any trick that a good illusionist shows them

More Project Fear rubbish. They say that people outside of London will be most affected, particularly Wales. That Airbus will leave, that it will be more expensive for us to export lamb to the EU.

What rubbish, the reverse is true. Wales will prosper more than anyone and we will all be richer.
