    Be prepared.

Port of Dover would be on the point of collapse and City won’t have a full season in the PL.

Everything will be alright, David Davies said deals would be easy, Boris said it would be easy and Donald Trump (currently imposing tariffs) said we’d be at front of queue.

So how’s it going two years on then?

Even garage is claiming he never said brexit would be good for the country now. It’s almost like the farages and reese moggs were just going to gain millions in tax breaks for their investments rather than being champions of the working classes. Who saw that coming!?

I can’t work out whether that article is a very early or very late April fools piece

I know. The idea that the government is doing any Brexit planning is frankly ludicrous!

Brexit has already bitten deeply .

Unemployment is at an all time low .

The FTSE recently hit an all time high.

We need a bit of scaremongering to balance these stories.

They said the world would end and indeed it is on its way.

Do you think unemployment is really at an all time low, or are the numbers being cooked a little?

Anyone would think that it's not totally normal for a country to cancel trade deals with its neighbours without a backup plan.

No one can honestly think unemployment is actually at an all time low right now.

Why do people think farage and Lawson among others have already applied for passports from other EU countries?

We haven’t left yet though Jimmy.

I still remain unconvinced by the vague false promises of our brexiteering politicians

    Ignore this^^^, it's irrelevant.

Mother Nature is going to do us in, regardless of what politicians say or whether Brexit is good or bad.

The Hawaii volcano has been erupting at its most active for decades.
Another volcano on Guatemala has erupted - again the worst for decades.

In all fairness the vast majority of them 199 countries don't manage very well at all.

Far easy to allow countries to trade with each other, allow countries to control who comes in and out, rather than trying to make 1 big country called the EU.

To the other poster - Italy seem like Greece - but worse. If they stay they feel they are being screwed and if they leave the EU will call in their debt. Im going there this summer, so will be interesting to gauge the mood of people there.
It sounds like you don’t know what you’re on about tbh pal.

So you reckon post Brexit trade with Europe will be easier than pre Brexit? Interesting viewpoint that virtually no one agrees with.

Also, why on earth we'd want to be like America is beyond me - greater poverty and inequality, racism is more prevalent, a country where the have nots do get trampled on.
