Glad he's got a chance somewhere, he's done remarkable things in his career so far.
In terms of playing style he's pretty much the anti-warnock, keeping the ball, ball playing defenders holding a defensive line close to the half way line.
In some of his other approaches though he shares a lot in common with Neil. There's a real focus on team unity and team spirit, and he goes out of his way to instill confidence and self belief in the players.
If we stay up, I'd be happy for them to come up too, as that can only be good news for Wales.

Given his achievements and the clubs reportedly sniffing around for his services, why on earth he'd want to go there is a mystery.

Probably most similar to what he has managed - not most attractive location, smaller place than most and a team usually seeking to pass the ball - while also stepping back into UK football.

Yes, that used to be Swansea a few seasons ago. To bring that style back isn't going to happen overnight.

Seems to be the sort of appointment the club needed, but, for me, their problems in recent years have been caused much more by those in the Board Room than whoever was in the dug out.

I think it's a risk but an even bigger risk would have been to go down the Mick McCarthy, Sam Allardyce route.

There are definite parallels with Ole but just cos Ole failed doesn't necessarily mean Potter will.

They have to be patient though if they want to rediscover a footballing identity.

Every interview I have watched by him, he comes across really well to be fair.

Yes there were rumbles of poor behaviours by board members going back, and effecting Monk's tenancy ,so much for the family club motto?

Takeover didn't help either, as they tried to expand beyond thier small club existance.

For me though it was their inability to replace the decent players they sold up front, that did for them .

They did very well, though up there .

It may be tough for them now though ,the drop into the Championship can be very unforgiving .
