Hoddle, and Tony Currie, are examples of England's chronic inability to trust flair players - Hoddle would have won a hundred caps for many other countries given his level of talent.
Hoddle is clearly biased towards England with his summarising, but we expect that from the Welshmen doing the same job when we play - he's one of the summarisers who sometimes makes me say "I didn't think of that, he's right" and, as such, I think he does a good job, Tyldesley on the other hand!
