"Burnley are among the clubs to have expressed an interest in signing Nathaniel Mendez-Laing from Premier League newcomers Cardiff, say Sky sources.

The winger scored six goals in 38 appearances last season to help Cardiff win promotion, having been playing in League Two just two years ago.
