I'm a bit underwhelmed. The stripes don't do it for me.

    Re: NEW KIT IMAGES

It's a shirt and it's blue. That is good.

Nothing special - although I do like the bluebird on the back.

I couldn't care less whether the shorts are blue or white.

Still find it strange that the VISIT MALAYSIA block letters are the best they can come up with. Will get it either way but not sure why they've changed it in the last couple of years to the block lettering?

I'm showing my ignorance and usual lack of appreciation of fine details here, but how is that kit different from last season's.?

    The hoops?

    Re: NEW KIT IMAGES

The overall composition of the top picture is spoiled by the fact that Mackenzie Crook is wearing green boots.

No sign of a sleeve sponsor, then

No. Do you want to set up a thread on it? Should be interesting.

It's like one of those 'spot the difference' competitions!

    1. The horizontal stripes.

    2. The v neck (2018) and round neck (2017).

    3. The white piping on the collar and sleeve.

    4. The bluebird emblem at the top of the back

    5. The Adidas white stripes on the shoulders (2018) and black stripes down the sides (2017).

    6. The price - up from (I think) £45 to £49.95.

The white stripes on the sleeve. The collar is different and there is white in it. Last seasons had dark blue Adidas stripes on the side. Also this seasons has hoops in different shades of blue.

Pretty certain its a different material as well.

I quite like it as it is, the simpler the typestyle the better, more iconic. Looks like a demand rather than a suggestion. Aggressively basic, just like the team.

I was thinking this. Maybe thats what the sponsor wants.

It's amazing how many people will pay half a ton to be a walking sandwich board.

    Re: NEW KIT IMAGES

Just think of that terrible red kit we played in last time in the PL.Even if it was blue it would have been garbage.

Blue Adidas top. Nothing to dislike.

If you think Jo looks like Mackenzie Crook, I suggest you pay a visit to specsavers

PS the kit is very nice.

    Re: NEW KIT IMAGES

I'm a big fan. I've always loved our kits that have a darker/lighter blue pattern - the Umbro early 80s shirts come to mind, the 91/12 Influence one and the 15/16 Adidas kit. Only thing slightly letting it down is the sponsor, which could do with being something a bit smarter than block caps text.

    Re: NEW KIT IMAGES

What's with the hoops? Not a huge fan of the kit to be honest

At least its not red though

It's alright, nothing special but nice enough.
