His angles are non-existent when offering himself for the ball which is essential as a pivot, he never sees danger early enough, he's slow in possession, his positioning is awful and he ambles around the pitch like a rugby player.
Like Jamie said, if you compared him to Dembele tonight it would have been like comparing Sergio Busquets with Aron Gunnarsson.
I kind of get him as a centre back but if England want to push on then he can't be near that midfield again.

If you watch the soccer am 2.0 things on YouTube, where they ask players about the squad. When they ask who is the best player at the club, every spurs player says Dembele without a thought. He’s a proper players player.
