    They weren’t allowed to take their penalties sideways!

    I felt that decesion smacked of arogrance, (were Spain we can win ,whoever is in charge ), ridiculous decesion .

    Or that he was a manager of the national team and should have had more focus on the job than negotiating his next position (remember that there has been a historical division between Real and Barca players within Spain camp) and more respect for his current employer than to raise it with them 5, minutes before doing so with the media. It would smack of weakness if they hadn't have sacked him and it's sent a message to future managers that they need to show a bit more respect to the Spanish job.
