Watched 'Over the Andes by Frog' recently, complete with the radio commentry of the goal being scored in the 1927 final.

Only nine episodes were ever made. The BBC binned it due to the high production costs. Golden Gordon and Whinfrey's Last Case are the best of the series in my opinion.
