FT: BRAZIL 1 - 2 BELGIUM. Match thread

Hoping this is a cracker and not the Neymar rolling around show.

Brazil forward line looks good, although Jesus doesn't like crosses.

He's down 6 minutes gone, are referees this gullible , or frightened stiff of the big stars.,yes Fellani is awkward but this is an attempt to mount up the challenges to a booking, what a crap system .

    France’s World Cup to lose

They have unbelievable strength in depth and left 6 or 7 players behind that could play for any team am remaining on the easy side of the draw

Best I've ever seen Lukaku. Belgium look far more balanced with Chadli and Fellaini

Being ripped apart by Hazzard and KDB, the Brasies luv a shoulder charge mind . Imagine the roll around on the floor moment if it was them on the end of it .

I don't think modern day South Americans are a very good example to young players, lots of skill yes ,dreadul cheating behavour when times are tough.

Brazil may have 11 players on the pitch, but they are definitely not a team.

Doesn't look like they have had a training session together.

    No movement going forward. POOR

    Is Chadli still at WBA?
    Worth a cheeky bid?

    Great half.

De Bruyne proving he’s the best attacking midfielder in the world. Why have they deployed him so deep previously? I love Coutinho but he’s not as good as KDB imo

Lukaku goal scoring record for Belgium is class. I saw a stat saying when Messi and Ronaldo had 70 caps, they both had 20 odd goals. Lukaku has 40: Still so young too. And as proven against Japan with his run to open up space, and the unselfish dummy, he’s a team player.

England won’t beat Belgium or France. Or Brazil for that matter.

Didn't realise he was on 40 already. He's a great player and as he's maturing he's becoming more of an allround player. He didn't use to have much awareness of his team mates (maybe not surprising as he burst on to the scene at such a young age) but he's getting close to becoming the complete striker.

He had a quiet Euros but has excelled this time.
