I'd not seen the goal v Man City from a couple of years back.... have to try him...and as The Donald says 'we'll see what happens'

I take issue with a professional journalist saying it's clear two footballers have good rapport without backing this statement up at all. Can anyone say how Tomlin and Reid have shown good rapport? Last season was Reid's breakthrough year and it was the first without Tomlin at the club.....

Not sure I completely buy into the idea that luxury players are given more time in the premier league either, although it's true that there are fewer games and that creativity is needed to unlock defences which Tomlin could offer. I guess if I was being optimistic I would say that Shelvey proved such a success that there was talk of him going to Russia and he's hardly more energetic than Tomlin.

He's still got the belly. I'd have thought he'd make a bit of an effort, knowing that a possible unexpected shot at the Premier League beckons.

Wiki would suggest they could have played together 56 times in the league and could have scored 17 goals between them in this time. There does seem to be a good enough amount of tape to suggest there may be something the good rapport comment, but I would like to know what he was referring to in a bit more detail than just a passing comment and yet one of the three main arguments for keeping the player.

Warnock intrview he has just said that nearly all the players have come back fit and have lost weight, but one or two have come back with just one or two pounds heavier, which he is quite happy with!
