Ronaldo move to Juventus completed by end of the week.
Confirmed transfer
They didn't advertise it until 5 hours ago so you might still have a shot of getting in tbh.
How much money are they expecting to recoup in shirts and adverts? His performance level will surely drop after one or two more years (even him) but if it helps them win the champions league in the next two years then I'm sure they'll see it as worth it.
Shame. Would have loved to have seen him (Bale) back in the EPL.
100 mill for a 34 year old
Imagine signing a player at the age of 23 for £80million, him staying 10 years scoring over 450 goals and winning 4 champions leagues, then selling him for £105million...
Agreed.
Despite his often dislikable attitude / persona he is without doubt the ultimate professional in terms of the way he has looked after himself, training diet, lifestyle etc
When he scored that overhead kick last season he was the first to acknowledge that it was about practise, practise, practise.
Fair play to Ronaldo, this will be the fourth European league that he will be playing in.
Bale the main man? I hope not, he's unbearable as it is. He'll hardly be RM's pin up boy
From what I have seen in the World Cup, Bale is probably the best player in the world right now.
Because of the goal from the final? He's not consistent enough. Check Messi's stats for the season.
Best player in the world? Yeah OK. :)
His form in the run-up to the CL Final was exceptional. He also stated after the final that Zidane wouldn't play him, even though he had fully recovered from an early season injury.
Next season will be interesting now that Ronaldo and Zindane have left, as they were the two people who hindered Bale the most.
