Thread: PARKING AT ASDA

    PARKING AT ASDA

As I will be travelling 150 miles to home games I was wondering whether it is still possible to park at Asda. I understand the parking company no longer operate there. Failing that can somebody suggest a possible alternative convenient free parking place? Usually I get to the ground by bus from a hotel but this season I shall be going to the ground mainly by car.

I believe they are re-introducing parking restrictions on the Asda retail park when matches are being played.

Try and get a permit at the stadium. There was still some available the other day. Not the cheapest method of parking but will give you peace of mind.

Or Whittle Road, off Hadfield Road. Plenty of parking down there so long as you get there early.

You could join the casino they used to hand out parking tickets.

The two Canton car parks, behind the shops, £3 all day, quick get-away, no worries about parking tickets.

Lots have been booked on Hadfield Road and Whittle Road lately

I would have offered to add you to my carshare pool from Taunton (usually just 2 of us but an extra one in N. Bristol to collect en route for the coming season) but I need to spend most weekends in Worcs before or after the games for the forseeable future. I could ask the other chaps, if you want.

Whittle Road is OK so long as you dont block businesses or park on the pavement. Not seen anyone booked down there unlike other nearby streets.

Was down the ticket office this morning and it was chaos outside Asda, with no-one entering the yellow boxes.

Lights must have changed about 4 times before I could turn into the CCS.

It's going to be fun & games for fans taking cars.

    Bus-pass for me.

No need to join the casino. Just go in for free. Any problems with parking fines let them know you were in there on that day.
