    I used to go to Fred Stansfield's shop on the way to school when I was a lad. Seeing him again brought back great memories.

    I see the keepers had gloves on there.

    I seem remember back in the 70's keepers like Bob Wilson didn't wear gloves. I can't even remember seeing Ron Healey and Bill Irwin wearing gloves.

    Anyone recollect the history of keepers and gloves?

    Sepp Maiyer had the largest gloves 8ve ever seen. He looked like Kenny Everett's Brother Lee Love.
