I thought that the 31st August loan window was open to FL teams to loan players IN/OUT, whilst EPL teams could only loan players OUT to FL or any country where the window is still open.
This WOL article http://www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/f...e-day-14995009 says, 'Of course, Warnock will also still be able to delve into the loan market beyond this week's transfer deadline. He will have until August 31 to complete any additional temporary deals to supplement his squad for the Premier League'.
Is this true?

The use of the words "of course" only makes the error seem worse.
We can let players go out on loan until 31st. August but after 9th. August we cannot get anyone in. The thing I am not sure about is if we can bring in free's, I do not think we can but perhaps someone here knows
I thought I heard Sky Sports say this morning that whilst the transfer window in England closes on August 9th, clubs can still sign players on loan until the 31st.
I prefer the early window for us but for clubs like man United the benefit of concluding your deals before thursday has to be offset by other leagues windows being open to the 31st.
Will be rumours of pogba going beyond when they would be able to replace him. For them in that situation the answer to Barcelona would probably be no but other clubs may not be able to turn down fees offered by foreign clubs.
It was the clubs themselves who voted for the change.
