Yep and ignoring the signing of one of the league’s top scorers last season and a few other additions to the squad.

Looking back at the 2013/2014 season we got 30 points (W7, D9, L22). Pessimistically, assuming we lose the same number of games this season but manage to win just two more games instead of drawing them (7 draws looks about the average) then we would get 36 points. That was just enough to keep WBA up that season!

Ha, as TOBW says we got 28 more points last season and we've strengthened bar the midfield. Anyway, I think we'll get somewhere between 35 and 40. Whether that's enough, I don't know but we got 30 points in 2013/14 with a worse side, worse manager in a tougher Premier League. From Burnley down, with the possible exception of Everton, nobody is much cop. Danny Gabbidon, for example, is of the opinion the top 10 in the Championship and the bottom 10 in the Premier League are much of a muchness.
