Foreign clubs knew that premier league had to get their business done in a very short window, so a few of them have been taken to the cleaners.

If he has a very good season then £27 million will have been worth it, but if he struggles and they go down they aren't going to get any of that back.

Well not really, if you factor in clubs who went up simalir to us , ie Leicester and Burnely, building blocks of progression,one step at a time .
