Interesting listening to NW on SSN saying that Zohore should be his main striker but hecwent on to build up Madine & Ward. Says that Madine & Ward will get a chance in the next few games, presumably off the bench.
I think Zohore may open his account tomorrow and once he gets one I think he’ll get a few more. No doubt that we are short of firepower and I would be amazed if tge purse strings are not released in January and a proven striker is brought in. Problem is January is not a good time to buy as many of the main players have already been snapped up.
We should’ve went for Abel Hernandez on a free, he would’ve fit in perfectly.
Looking at the transfer markt free agent website, not many options out there left, apart from 6”8 striker Lacina Traore once had a short painful spell at Everton, but could be useful to us.
Other than that there’s Velikonja, Maynard, Macheda, Jay Emmanuel Thomas or Darren Bent
