Thread: Anyone Following Rachael's Story ?

    Anyone Following Rachael's Story ?

An incredibly brave young lady who is now facing the seemingly inevitable. Her tweets and braveness should act to make us value what we have, as sometimes we underestimate it. Rachael is a Creigiau girl who went on to make it big with the BBC, she should be an inspiration to us all and her young family as she faces her final battle.

RIP indeed, though in my opinion, the comment about suicide and men under 50 has no place in a thread such as this. Just an opinion, no more, no less.

Sludge, this isn't true. Lost one of my best friends to pancreatic cancer on Sunday, 42 years old with a 10 yr old son. Five months from diagnosis till death.

    RIP Rachael..

The plain hard facts are the biggest killer of men under fifty is death by suicide

And my opinion is why make a comment then if not to stir the pot , it's got every place the thread is about breast cancer which hardly any of us reading this will get as we are blokes but we may very well die by suicide , no attempt to brush it away will work

Yes. Weirdly as its my birthday today and I'm a bit older her than Racheal her death seems to have more significance. Obviously a fantastically brave lady, with a young kid who confronted her worst fears 'head on' and asking for no sympathy.

Firstly. Cancer is a ****ing ****. More money ploughed into trying to cure it the better.

Secondly, well played Racheal butt. Top bollocks, Top spirit and top ****ing person.

Sad thing is some wannabe twat on celebrity big brother will get more column inches than her in the press.

Bit tough listening to her BBC colleagues voices breaking, as they tried to speak about her today .

Bloody tradgic, what an inspiring person she was though.

Must be tough for the family .

    I hate the bloody disease.
