He’s a bit of an odd-ball. Whilst he’s a bit serious and cutting as a pundit he seems reasonably level headed. I can’t imagine him just going up to people and calling them pricks and cynts completely unprovoked. The story sounds like it might have omissions.
That said, he seems to cause trouble wherever he goes. It’d be a bit rich of him to criticise people for dropping out after the Saipan debacle. In fact, if he is behaving like that youd think he might have understood the importance of speaking to players with respect after apparantly being insulted by McCarthy.
I get the feeling that he might be trying to stir up some passion .... or maybe he is just a conflictive idiot. Whatever it is, it doesn’t seem to be helping them on the pitch. What’s more, the axe will fall on O’Neil. Wouldn’t be surprised if he’s had words Keane as well as the players.
