O/T Web design software ??

I'm looking to make a half decent looking website. I don't want to spend big bucks. About 40 quid max....but then again I've heard you can try out software from special websites....so maybe cost isn't so much the of an issue.I would prefer to buy though.

I already have the domain.

I'm technologically semi-thick. Which means the smaller the learning curve, the better. Ideally as well, I'd prefer software as opposed to subscription.

Any ideas ?

Forgot to say.... I’m a mac user ( I feel so dirty saying that )

Looks pretty powerful that software though.
