    Ryder Cup

That atmosphere on the first tee. The stand holds 7,000 people.

    C’mon Europe

Up in three last time I looked, no more than an hour ago, now down in three!

Amazing how quickly things can change in the RC.

    3 nil down

Rose lost and he was looking solid, thougj Rahm looked shaky. What the hell happened?

Edit: 1-3 after the first session. Not great!

Don't like the McIlroy Poulter painting at all.
McIlroy just goes for it every shot.
I'd imagine him getting under Poulter's skin if it starts to go pear shaped.

I'm no Golf fan but this tournament is up with the best sporting events , of course not including City games .

They've been paired a lot before. They were the pairing that saved the day to make it 10-6 at Medinah.

Fair play, it's working again for them.
Looks like McGinley got it spot on when he said about Europe firm favourites for the foursomes, Blue in all four games this afternoon and the Americans have been pants.

As said it could change very quickly and would take 3-1 right now.

It’s superb. I don’t have SKY so listen to the coverage on Radio FiveLive which is brilliant. I love this event
A great afternoon for Europe and what a pairing Fleetwood & Molinari proved to be.

    Re: Ryder Cup

Don’t know where to start with this.

    1. All the football commentators that mug up and become golf experts overnight (Alan Green the worst)
    2. Over doing the whispering during commentary.
    3. A bit like Wimbledon in tennis. I.e no one interested or aware of US Open/US PGA etc, but all pile in for this.
    4. Masacreed for generations when Britain and Ireland. Then changed rules to accommodate all the Vikings, Dagos and Kra

    Give me strength.

    Cmon Uncle Sam.

    init though

You only have to watch the Paul Casey interview (after just winning the four balls this morning with Hutton) to see what being part of the Ryder Cup team means to these players.

The Americans too. How often do you see Jordan Speith baiting the crowd?

Golfers are loners in their sport and to be part of a team brings all the emotion out.

    Drama in its purest form.

Yep it’s brilliant as is the FiveLive coverage although I wish they wouldn’t keep mentioning Jamie Donaldson winning the Ryder Cup in 2014.:We know.
