This isnt gospel, just my understanding so hopefully someone will know for sure.

I think the turnstiles light turns green when accepting a "normal" ST card and amber for a concession. The concession doesn't distinguish between old uns and young uns, just tips the stewards to look out for people buying a concession ST when they should be paying full price. So yes, should be ok, unless its a family stand issue where I think you have to be accompanied by a kid

That was a series well ahead of its time.

Indeed. I am most disappointed that I have not been questioned when I go through the turnstiles using my old fart's concession ticket whilst looking deceptively youthful.

I think theres a light code for all groups

It's green for full paying adult, maybe orange for OAP and if it's a youth both lights come on. I'm not 100% sure but I seem to recall seeing a combination of lights.

It is more nuanced than that. I think there are three lights and OAP is two green strips and one orange. Could be that juveniles are two orange and one green but I don't know. By the way, City seem to be one of the few footballing entities (including Wales) that class a 60 year old as a concession. Most other entities seem to offer concessions at 65 years old in my limited sample.
