The one season wonder was diving all over the place.
Also, City have the equal 10th highest number of goals scored from open-play this season. Only 1 team (Fulham) in the bottom half-of the table has scored more from open-play.
City have scored more goals from open-play than Spurs so far.
Only Bournemouth, Chelsea and Man City have conceded less fouls than us.
I wonder how far ahead of all the other sides we’d be if it was based on fouls per minute out of possession?
Our ratio would be way below Man City who have about 7 fouls to our 9, but probably an average of at least double our possession.
Fouls per minute out of possession 96/600 City about .15
71/280 Man City about .25
If anything we are the least dirty side in the league
I tend to agree.
I’m wondering if there are orders to avoid bookings/ sendings off/ injury against the big teams?
I know Ralls got sent off against Spurs and booked vs Man City but we really have been tame.
Perhaps Warnock thinks it’s not worth taking a risk - especially given the microscopic analysis of every strong challenge we put in ?
On the other had..Wonder if we might have got off to a better start against Spurs/ Liverpool/ Man City if we’d put ourselves about a bit more
