Games against non big 6 UPDATED table after Round 10

Latest games played against non big 6 teams table.

    PL W D L Pts GD B6B (big 6 bonus points)
    9 6 2 1 20 7 0 Bournemouth
    7 5 1 1 19 4 3 Watford
    8 4 3 1 15 3 0 Everton
    8 4 1 3 15 0 2 Wolvesalona
    6 3 2 1 14 -2 3 Brighton
    8 4 1 3 13 0 0 Leicester
    5 1 1 3 8 -6 4 Hammers
    7 2 2 3 8 -7 0 Burnley
    8 2 1 5 7 -6 0 Palace
    8 1 4 3 7 -8 0 Southampton
    5 1 2 2 5-14 0 City
    7 1 2 4 5-17 0 Fulham
    5 0 3 2 3 -8 0 Geordie bastards
    6 0 3 3 3-17 0 Huddersfield

The key point here is that we have 2 or 3 games in hand in the battle to avoid the drop.
    City are doing fine.

City Hammers and the Geordies have had the toughest start!

For me Hudderfield, Southampton and Palace look the most likely candidates for a bottom three Xmas.

My head spins when examining these tables he posts every Sunday. Members should be aware AlwaysAway2's favourite hobbies are distilling and sampling banana, parsnip and sawdust flavoured vodka he makes by the bucket load which is so strong Jersey's Russian community resist his attempts to trial them.

To summarise, super City have averaged a point per game versus those teams who are perceived to finish outside the Premier League's top six places. Maintaining that ratio will result in a season points total of 26 points.

And on the current ratios those 26 points would be enough for survival.

Huddersfield are home to Fulham next weekend. A draw would be a great result for it should extend the tenure of Wagner and Stinkovic for a while longer and keep Big Sam unemployed.

Great information. A good way of looking at the league. Would it be possible to put it in a spreadsheet so it is more visually appealing ? Then post on here ?

This way of assessing performance only really works for the first half of the season.
At Xmas everyone will have played everyone else once.
After that it's dog eat dog I feel.

For me it is vital the players understand how well they are doing.
At times we looked really good in passing play. I notice that yesterday some of our best link up play was actually omitted from the Sky highlights.

Why is it only relevant until Xmas?

    That feels like flawed logic.

Because enough games have been played for teams to have found their true positions.

Sorry - but that’s bullshit. Your analysis has been ok up until now, but we’ll still have the same opportunity in the reverse fixtures as we do first time around. Games against the big 6 don’t get any easier and points we take off the rest are points they can’t get.... simple really.

Because I do it manually and I am not happy that we had to play Leicester under those conditions. Warnock was right the game should have been postponed.

A lot can change between Christmas and the end of the season.
