To be honest, the "people don't believe in experts" thing really annoys me, this weird pride in ignorance is the biggest factor in the country crashing downhill in my opinion.

You had a guess about uk knives vs us mass shootings, fair enough. But after seeing you were massively wrong, instead of saying "I'm probably wrong" you seem to be saying "I'm probably right and the figures are wrong". Can you not see how nuts that is?

As for the mental health/gang thing, well if my family member was dead then it would make little difference to me but as an ordinary citizen I would know I'm less likely to be targetted by a gang member than someone with mental health problems. One will discriminate his victims, one won't. So I don't know where you're going with that.
