    Pass maps from Brighton game

The red card clearly had a big impact. Not sure there will be too many occasions that both fullbacks average positions are in the opposition half.

Manga did look a bit like a fish out of water at times, but it is probably worth remembering that in the vast majority of games he's going to be doing a lot more defending than attacking. This was probably an exception.

The most remarkable thing is how central kads and Murphy are, did they swap flanks at some point?

Here is the shot map as well.
Clearly a deserved win, but we took a high number of pretty low chance pot shots

I think Harris and Murphy swapped sides a few times.

Yeah that's a bit of a weakness with the average position, it can't distinguish between staying central and playing 50% of the time on both flanks

They did. Shows how deep we were playing, bears out my point about playing on the midfielder instead of the full back.

I think they both came inside a lot. Have a look at Josh Murphy’s heat map here

I wondered if he was just given a free role

Harris’s heatmap is more usual for a winger, although it seems 50/50 for each side and unlike Murphy he actually tracked back a few times.

They 'doubled up' on Murphy at the start. Swapping meant they had to alter their defensive plans.

I think a few times I saw 3 players on him, could get harder for him as the season goes on.

Worked for us though, Harris had a decent game.
