From recollection it was the only time that Etheridge rolled the ball to one of the back four before the sending off rather than wellying towards Patterson's head. Looks like we can do it but we are reluctant or instructed not to try. That said I would be nervous with the passing ability of our defence and Etheridge's footballing skills to start like this but if we mix it up more then we set different problems for teams than if they know what is going to happen when we retrieve the ball at the back.
