Getting away from brexit for some good news

Anyone thinking of wasting a sympathetic breath on Theresa May re: Brexit should first cast their eye back to what she promised when she started as PM and then fast forward to see what she has actually delivered. The opposite. She is a liar of the worst kind.

The Tories are pure evil. May is supposedly a Christian but she sups with the devil. We need a general election to get them out NOW!!!

Employment is the panacea to all social ills is the ideology driving this. I can remember the late 70s and early 80s and don't recall seeing people beg or huddled in doorways along Queen Street or anywhere else.

Was shocked at seeing the Universal Credit rate for an unemployed single person of working age, £310 per month income and £260 for rent if applicable which is around £73 and £65... is it possible to rent a bedsit or one bedroom flat for £65? If not then they have to use some of the £73. With that and the threshold for entitlement to a disability benefit being so much higher then we have ill people subject to jobseeker requirements and a draconian sanction regime to boot. Little wonder so many are in despair.

    The media are equally complicit.

Yes, UK workers have been trained to describe themselves as hard workers or hard working. The Tories devised that phrase for the 2010 General Election to polarise and the media duly obliged by repeating the phrase to infinity ever since.
