Henry Hill's flat has had an upgrade.

Sensible. You can take a shit while watching the pot doesn't boil over. It's the future.

Don't laugh. I was in Warsaw a few months back and the kitchen had the bathroom in it. But this one had the shower as well. It was weird watching my missus chomping on boiled eggs whilst I de-clagged. It is still a great conversation piece to bring up though.

It's not uncommon for really old NYC apartments to have a bathtub in the kitchen.

Wouldn't be legal here as you need 2 doors between the kitchen and the toilet for hygiene reasons.

I did wonder if the glass was electrochromic, which would be easily possible

A step up from the tin bath in front of the coal fire & shitting in a little hut down the bottom of the back garden!

Agreed - especially the arguments over whose turn it was to empty the contents...

    Only in new developments!

When I sold my London flat in 1984, the buyer tried to get me to "fix the problem", but the flat was exempt, being built with only one door decades earlier.

That is true. I am assuming that this is a relatively new 'insertion' though
