    Old Money

Anyone on here know of anywhere I can get old banknotes valued?
I have about thirty £1 notes and a few ten shilling notes.
All the notes are like new and never been folded or creased. Twenty of the £1 notes have consecutive numbers.
The pound notes are 'series C' apparently, which ran from 1960 to 1979. I'm not sure what year mine are from.
I don't think they'll be worth much, but I'd be interested to find out.

I've no idea if notes gain more in value than coins or not, however, as a kid I remember my grandmother had a Churchill crown coin. It felt big in my hand at that time and had a real weighty feel to it. I always thought it would be worth a lot in future years.. I just had a look on ebay and they're virtually giving them away.

Old bank notes and coins are worth more in used condition rather than mint condition, thats what i read on the wonder web a few weeks ago when looking for info on some of the old notes and coins we have.
