We did alright there, The throw in where the goal came from was our ball, Patterson was penalised for absolutely nothing. The penalty appeal-I watched three replays and i can't see the contact, not saying i'm correct, it looks very tight. I'll take another look.
It's the little decisions that we don't get, and should, that make all the difference.
There is little chance to get up a head of steam and it looks like we are always feeding off scraps.
There is no doubt that Everton were better going forward and had much of the game.
However, Warnock Will have good reason to feel hard done by (again) and disappointed as his game plan almost worked.
Does their goal get changed by VAR? Throw-in leads to goal 30 seconds later and was a contentious decision.
Yes we do seem to be closer to these teams now ,it's just that end product .
