Apart from being just plain immoral, events like this are killing sport IMO.
Throwing money around at Mickey Mouse type events degrades the the ones that matter, IMO.

Cricket has suffered and I personally couldn't give two hoots how they are fairing against Sri Lanka.

Millions of muricans sat at home at thanksgiving watching PPV golf on tv whilst stuffing themselves with holiday fare
Nothing new here just another demonstration of how the clever people who own the PPV companies can squeeze more juice out of our wallets

I didn't watch it. But I read about it. Sounded pretty lame.

Don't really see anything immoral about it though. If people want to pay $20 to watch a couple of geezers play matchplay golf it's up to them. Beats paying 5 times that to watch a UFC fighter and a boxer.
