Blackpool seems alright.
I don't like their football team but Bristol definitely isn't the 9th worst place to live in the UK
Bedlinog, new tredegar, bargoed to name but 3
Spent a fair bit of time in all of them (other than Dover which has only been a drive through for me). Other than Bristol and Liverpool (that are both good) the rest are absolute shit holes with Blackpool being top of the shop. I’d replace the 2 good ones with Wolverhampton and Middlesbrough (which would be in my top 3)
Why isn’t Luton or Watford on the list? Blackpool is just a disaster of a place
Not any more. Happened to be going passed and dropped in for the Spennymoor v Stourbridge play off final. Virtually every shop was closed down or, even if the shop was "open" it was closed on Saturday. The parade of shops looked like something out of a post apocalyptic zombie movie. The leisure centre was Ok as a refuge for a cuppa as was the art gallery. Nothing else there. Cheap housing though. Stourbridge lost (a team local to where I live) to a controversial goal. Spennymoor are doing OK this season and could be on for a second promotion.
Don’t think so. Was a separate sub thread on Scandinavian suicide
Edit. Clicked post not quote. Should of quoted LOM

Doesn't the article refer to this being a tongue in cheek survey anyway?
