Makes me laugh on Nation Radio on a Friday when they mention every no mark rugby club and then the Jack’s upcoming game against feckin Rotherham yet no mention about their capital Premier League team.

ITV Wales news showed the goal. No reaction or additional info apart from one sentence.

The welsh media, particularly BBC wales news is pathetic, the 'stories' they report on are laughable. Absolute village mentality the majority of this country, and that's what they get, simpleton news, and a simpleton sport.

Re: Did the city play this weekend

Any football fan in this country who thinks they are poorly off for coverage should try following a truly minoroty sport!

There are a ridiculous number of games live every week, highlights program, a whole channel devoted to 24/7 football news, Talksport radio is 90% football and our manager is on there more regularly than some of the presenters. Newspaper sports coverage is at least 75% football.
It is so saturated that presumably the next step is to have Gary Lineker ring you up at random times of the day and chant "football" at you until you relent and watch some more football.

In reality anyone watching BBC Wales news who might have been interested in how Cardiff had got on on the weekend had 1001 other ways to find out and so almost certainly already knew. Are you really saying that you want people who aren't into football to be forced to watch more of it?
Whatever other sports they had on there probably weren't covered anywhere else.

My issue is just more the standard of reporting, the stories they generally cover after the first 5 minutes of the 6.30pm news and yes, the rugby bias.

Substitute the Word Rugby for the word Football and you have BBC Wales down to a t.
What would you say the TV audiences are for those minor games they now put on on a Friday night because they have a rugby budget but nothing else to spend it on ?

Perhaps the media are doing us a service in not reaching out to those plastic and fair weather fans that some seem to dislike whilst pointing them in the direction of Cardiff Arms Park instead?

There is no doubt it's the dominant media sport .

As for Welsh media its crap and frankly toe curling embarrassing, it's not even worth moaning about, as its content is appalling .

Bit like trying to kick smoking or drinking , as you know it's bad for you, I still find myself returning to bad habits,
and succumbing to the dreadful Radio Wales commentary for the City away games , if there was an alternative I'd seek it out , and finally be free of all things that are media Welsh.

Use Cardiff city player for commentary, a few pounds a month and good value.

Gave up on BBC egg years ago.

So biased towards the egg , always has been always will be.

Just hurt their crumbling viewing figures by not watching.
