Outplayed until we scored, with Etheridge making 3 or 4 superb saves to keep the score down.

We seemed to be overrun in midfield and gave Watford so much time to play in front of our defence on the edge of our box. We made them look like Brazil at times.

Talking of which their 3 goals were outstanding efforts, as was Junior’s.

But why did it take us to score 2 goals before we took the game to Watford? That has to be the tactics as we are so passive away from home. Surely just a bit more adventure would improve our measly return of away points, at least against the teams where we MAY have a chance. We actually played a bit of football towards the end of the game.

Murphy was poor today and rightly subbed at HT and NML did well when he came on.

Despite having a decent game both of Camarasa’s free kicks towards the end when we were chasing the equaliser were so poor :-( Which is strange for a team that relies so heavily on set pieces.

All that said at 3-0 down it had been a pretty miserable afternoon but by the end at least it felt like we had given them a bit of a game.
