Geraint Thomas nqat!
I mean.....really Geraint?
What's he wearing?
'You ****ed it up, You ****ed it up, you ****ed it, England ****ed it up"
Everyone singing that version?
Should've been Tyson Fury
What the hell has Fury ever won apart from a dieting award?
Coming back from a year off, and suffering, to be one round from being heavyweight champion of the world, away from home, is pretty extraordinary.
What is a sport's personality? It's title is not about biggest or best winner so maybe giving recognition to person who has connected with public most or most deserving or recognition. Kane achieved the least over the year but probably had most emotional impact on widest possible number, while also having next to no personality to connect to. Everyone else would have proved worthy winners (maybe not tax doger Hamilton) but right result in the end, even if it's a very strange award to start with.
Have the BBC really cut out Geraint carrying the Welsh flag or is that a twitter hoax?
Joshua has 4 World titles, Fury none and never will win one! Joshua should have been in last six but our G deserved to win.
Harry Kane??? What the feck has he done to be on that list
Women's netball
Right on BBC as if anyone gives a feck
Well done to Harry Kane on 3rd place for scoring a hat-trick against the might of Panama
At least the right winner got it.
To be fair to the Roses beating Australia to win the Commonwealth gold in Australia was a massive achievement, Aus and NZ have traditionally always done better than England, add to it was the last shot of the game, pretty exciting stuff
Oh and well done Geraint, Well deserved
Brings a tear to the eye and makes one proud to have been a Welsh competitive cyclist - and I'm not even Welsh!
Brilliant. Totally deserved.
Nice to see a cardiff boy win it. No matter who he supports. Great speech clearly off the cuff as well.
