Just told Sunderland that he won't be signing a new deal.

He's just turned 20. He's better than signing Efe Ambrose.

My point is we need a striker WITH Premier league (Top division) experience that can slot straight into the team...... We need GOALS

They cost money. We can't afford them. Can you name a realistic option?

If we signed him, he shouldn't be judged on this season. I'd be happy if we did though.

Lacina Traoré? Free agent, 28 years old and 6ft8. Also Ivorian so Sol probably knows him.

John Obi Mikel and Pepe, both free agents. Get them in Neil.

    Re: Maja

One for the future and as long as he’s cheap then exactly what we should be doing.

Also, as he’s under 23 can be added to the squad without us having to drop someone else out.

Just hope we can develop a few of our own.
I see 3 of them are the squad for Gillingham, so that should be interesting

He's scored 8 goals since 2014. Zohore got more than that last season.

8 goals in 40 appearances He has a weird time at Monaco, got loaned out a lot then got accused of changing his name and age then left

I just looked for a striker that would suit our style. It would be a massive risk obviously but he's out of work so may be cheap and he's got to be better than Madine surely!?

    Re: Maja

Looks like Maja going to Palace. 14 goals in 23 starts at his age. Doesn’t matter what league it’s in, that’s a gamble worth taking imo

I wonder where he'll end up, someone is bound to have a gamble on him as a free agent

    Re: Maja

We already have a striker who can score goals in League 1. Neal Maupay of Brentford - a selling club - might be more realistic.

Brentford want £20m, apparently. They turned down £12.5m for Mepham.

Offer 10 and an extra 5 if we stay up and an extra 5 for 10 goals.
