    Oh well, better to get knocked out in the 3rd round by Gillingham than get knocked out in the 4th round by Swansea I suppose.

    Yes. The numbers were done on the 3rd round draw.

    Even more in hindsight. I doubt a trip to the Liberty would have been in our best interests had we beaten Gillingham, given the events of the last week. I guess it would have been postponed, but still.
